Opens with Damask rose and black plum, juicy and a little liqueur-like, with saffron giving it a warm edge. In the heart, Moroccan rose comes in and, with it, birch tar and leather: the rose turns smoky and gains texture. The base of patchouli, dry amber, cedar and smoke leaves it dark and dry, with no excess sweetness.
Dark Imagination is a leather floral eau de parfum by Discothèque, the house founded between Los Angeles and London by Jessie Willner, Hanover Booth and Whitney Moulton. Each perfume starts from a city, a year and a club: this is Marrakech in 2003 and Theatro, which the brand says was Africa's first music venue before becoming a club and hosted Yves Saint Laurent, Grace Jones or David Bowie.
