SYNOPSIS: At nineteen, Nica Galas published her first book, the autobiographical volume Falling into the Sea, which narrated her brief and torrid love story among the warm beaches and lemon trees of the Gulf of Naples. The overwhelming story begins with Nica and her friends picking bouquets of jasmine flowers for the boys while jumping into the sea from a cliff.
