Caterina Catalani

Caterina Catalani is the perfumer and co-founder of AVAU, the Italian house that launched its first collection in 2025. She trained at the Grasse Institute of Perfumery, earning a degree in Fragrance Creation and Sensory Evaluation, and works between London and Italy. She signs all six fragrances of AVAU, which the house presents as personal promises: from the grapefruit with timut pepper of Golden Coast to the musky iris of Silent Drift and the Oud with blackcurrant of Exotic Oud.
