Vincenzo Parisi, a young man from Puglia, Italy, embodies the essence of the fragrance with his only pair of handmade leather shoes, which lasted until his final days. Cuoium within Orto Parisi

Orto Parisi presents Cuoium as the visceral bond with the skin: a perfume born from respect for natural materials and that makes leather its reason for being. The house sells it as Parfum, launched it in 2021, and makes it in Italy.

The bottle follows the same idea. The cap is made of oxidized metal, with the logo embedded in vegetable-tanned leather, and the bottle comes inside a removable, reusable handmade sleeve made from that same leather. Orto Parisi does not publish the fragrance pyramid of its perfumes, so the notes circulating for Cuoium are those gathered by perfumery sources, not an official brand detail.
