It opens with juicy fruit and citrus: passion fruit, mango, grapefruit, orange. A green apple gives it edge and keeps the opening from turning too sweet. The heart turns floral, with jasmine and rose supported by honey, and geranium, lily of the valley, and blackcurrant leaves lightening the whole composition. In the drydown, it changes gear. Vanilla and caramel take the base into gourmand territory, and moss with guaiac wood and cashmere wood ground it so it does not stay merely sweet.
Dahab Absolu is a floral-fruity-gourmand eau de parfum from Kajal Perfumes Paris, created by Patrick Müller in 2026. It is the absolu interpretation of Dahab, which we already have in the catalog and which stays in the fruity register: here the fruit still leads the opening, but the gourmand and woody base gives it a weight the original does not aim for.
Use a small amount: the opening is expansive, and two sprays are enough. It wears best in the afternoon. For layering, the most direct option is from the same house: Dahab keeps the focus on the fruit and leaves the base where it is, and Almaz shifts it toward floral. To reinforce the base, Un Deux Trois Soleil of Bastille is gourmand without fruit and pushes in that direction.
