Inspired by the personal childhood memories of the founder of Jovoy, whose grandfather befriended a monk during World War II. Subsequently, the family frequently visited his abbey. Jacques Flori, the perfumer, endowed this fragrance with a special and unique touch, with notes of smoke and dampness characteristic of sacred places, where time seems to stand still for centuries.
The Liturgy of the Hours is like entering a venerable Roman chapel in the south of Italy or a monastery lost in the fragrant hills of Greece. Time seems to stop, giving way to eternity.
On the cold slabs, polished over centuries, the burning embrace of the Mediterranean summer exalts an infinite, almost sacred love.
