Oman Luxury dedicates it to the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, in Muscat. It opens dry and luminous, with a rose that saffron gives an almost leathery edge. Soon a touch of cooking spices appears, cumin and clove, which warms it and gives it something salty, like warm skin. In the drydown, it darkens into incense and wood smoke, with a toasted praline sweetness that rounds it out without turning it into dessert.
